Adabraka Police Commander Commends Church for Support

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has donated office items to the Adabraka District of the Ghana Police Service on Monday, January 14, 2018 in Accra.

The items included furniture and a desktop computer.

 

Emelia Ahadjie, Africa West Area Public Affairs Director of The Church led a team of five to make the presentation. She said, “This is a token to help your daily activities and also to enhance the existing relationship between the Church and the Police Service”.

The District Commander commended the Church for their support to the Police Service, stressing, that the support is timely and will go a long way to support the personnel in the discharge of their duties.  “We appreciate this gesture and promise to put them into good use."

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, follows the admonition of Jesus Christ to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, take in the stranger, clothe the naked and visit the sick and afflicted.
