    The Church of Jesus Christ will Host the 6th Annual Strengthening Families Conference in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire

    On 21-22 June 2024 thousands to meet at Abidjan Exhibition Centre and on-line throughout the world

    On June 21st and 22nd, 2024 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host the 6th annual Strengthening Families Conference at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.  All sessions of the conference can also be accessed on-line.  The conference is free for all in-person and virtual attendees.

    The Strengthening Families Conference is an international event with speakers and performers from around the globe.

    The theme of this year’s conference is Strengthening Marriage and will focus on providing effective strategies and practices to strengthen families by bolstering marriages. Speakers and panelists will use innovative approaches to help spouses achieve positive outcomes in their marriages.

    The conference will also help families to leverage the collective impact of faith-based organizations, government agencies, and non-governmental agencies to champion quality marriage and family supports.

      The contributors and participants in this event come with substantial experience and a wide diversity of backgrounds. They are focused on raising the standards of quality for marriage and family strengthening and support.

      There will be singing and traditional dancing groups from both the Abidjan area and throughout the world to provide entertainment at the conference.

      Booth exhibitions will be available at the venue and on-line both during and after the conference. The booths will be hosted by community and religious based organizations and will be educational and interactive.

      Doors will open at 9:00AM on both days of the event. Conference attendees are invited to visit the booths in the Conference Center lobby. The program will begin at 11:00AM on both days.

      Last years conference was held in Abuja, Nigeria and had 4,000 in-person attendees.  Over 200,000 individuals participated in the conference on-line.  All Church members and their friends are invited to participate wherever they are in the world.
